Historical and thematic presentation of the journal

 

Since 1994, it has become a tradition for the Faculty of Economics of the University of Oradea to organize at the end of May, the Scientific Session, having a national and international character. Every year, the papers of the Scientific Session organized by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Oradea were published, in volume and/or electronic support (CD) in the Annals of the University of Oradea, Economic Sciences Series, a journal published by the University of Oradea Publishing House, ISSN 1582 - 5450.

 

During 1994 – 2008, the Journal  - The Annals of the University of Oradea, Economic Sciences Series were published annually in volume and/or electronic support and distributed to all the participants to the Scientific Session.

The number of participants from the country or abroad and the number of papers published has increased every year. Therefore, if in 1994 a number of 47 scientific articles were published, in 2008 the number of papers published increased to 853 scientific articles, presented in four sections, each of them containing a number of three subsections, as it follows: 

  • International Relations with the subsections: International Relations, European Integration, The Impact of Foreign Languages on the Business Environment;

  • Economy and Business Administration with the subsections: Economy, Business Administration, Economic Statistics;

  • Finances, Banks, Accounting with the subsections: Finances, Banks, Accounting;

  • Management and Marketing with the subsections: Management, Marketing, Economic Informatics.

Currently, all the volumes are available on this site in PDF format , at the section The Archive of the FES Journal, in complete volume (TOM III, 1994 – TOM XIII, 2004) and individually, on each paper, full text, abstract and key words separately (TOM XIV, 2005 – TOM XVII, 2008).

Therefore, in the Annals of the University of Oradea, Economic Sciences Series, TOM XIV, 2005 a number of 216 scientific articles are published, out of which 210 – by national authors and 6 – by foreign authors, in the following 6 sections:

The articles are published in Romanian, with an abstract in an international language: English (mainly), French, German, Italian.

The Annals of the University of Oradea, Economic Sciences Series, Tom XIV 2005 (1 volume with a total number of 917 pages) were printed in 50 copies and sent to: the National Library, The Library of the University of Oradea, the universities with which agreements of inter-university exchanges are signed etc. and in electronic format, in a number of 250 CDs which were distributed to all the participants to the International Scientific Session  European Integration – New Challenges for the Romanian Economy”, 1st Edition – 27-28 May 2005.

 

The Annals of the University of Oradea, Economic Sciences Series, TOM XV, 2006, (Volume I and II with a total number of 1255 pages) were published as a result of the second edition of the International Scientific Session "European Integration - New Challenges for the Romanian Economy”, during 26 - 27 May 2006, at the Faculty of Economics, Oradea, a conference dedicated to the anniversary of 15 years of economic university studies in Oradea. This volume contains a total number of 228 papers, out of which – 277 of Romanian authors and 3 of foreign authors, in the following sections:

The articles are published in Romanian, with an abstract in an international language: English (mainly), French, German, Italian.

The Annals of the University of Oradea, Economic Sciences Series, Tom XV, 2006 (volumes I and II with a total number of 1255 pages) were printed in 50 copies and sent to: the National Library, The Library of the University of Oradea, inter-university exchanges etc. and in electronic format, in a number of 300 CDs which were distributed to all the participants to the International Scientific Session  European Integration – New Challenges for the Romanian Economy”, 2nd Edition – 26-27 May 2006, Oradea.

 

The Annals of the University of Oradea, Economic Sciences Series, TOM XVI, 2007, (Volumes I, II and III with a total number of 2304 pages) were published as a result of the third edition of the International Scientific Session "European Integration - New Challenges for the Romanian Economy”, which took place during 25 - 26 May 2007, at the University of Oradea, Faculty of Economics.

 

In this volume a number of 516 articles were published, out of which – 505 Romanian authors and 11 foreign authors, being accessible on sections, individually, full text free of charge, with abstract and key words individually in the following sections: 

 In 2007, the abstracts of the scientific articles registered for the conference were published in the volume Abstracts of the 3rd Edition of the International Scientific Conference “European Integration – New Challenges for the Romanian Economy, published in English, 196 pages, in a number of 550 copies distributed to all the participants to the conference, to the National Library, the Library of the University of Oradea, inter-university exchange etc.  

The articles presented at the conference are published in an international language – English (mainly), French, German, Italian, with the abstract and key words in English.

 

The Annals of the University of Oradea, Economic Sciences Series, TOM XVII, 2007, Volumes I, II and III were published after the conference in June 2007, printed in 50 copies and sent to: the National Library, The Library of the University of Oradea, inter-university exchanges etc. and in electronic format, in a number of 550 copies on CDs which were distributed to all the participants to the third edition of the International Scientific Session  European Integration – New Challenges for the Romanian Economy”, 25-26 May 2007, Oradea.

The Annals of the University of Oradea, Economic Sciences Series, TOM XVII, 2008, were published as a result of the fourth edition of the International Scientific Session "European Integration - New Challenges for the Romanian Economy”, which took place between  30 - 31 May 2008, at the University of Oradea, Faculty of Economics.

 

In this volume a number of 853 articles were published, out of which 847 Romanian authors and 6 foreign authors, being accessible individually, full text, with abstract, key words and the JEL code in the following sections and subsections:

 

International Relations with the subsections:

  • International Relations total articles: 34, out of which foreign authors: 0; Romanian authors: 34;

  • European Integration total articles: 64, out of which foreign authors: 0; Romanian authors: 64;

  • The Impact of Foreign Languages on the Development of Business Environment: total articles: 22, out of which foreign authors: 0; Romanian authors: 22.

 Economy and Business Administration with the subsections:  

  • Economy total articles: 97, out of which foreign authors: 2; Romanian authors: 95;  

  • Business Administration total articles: 50, out of which foreign authors: 2; Romanian authors: 48;

  • Economic Statistics total articles: 30, out of which foreign authors: 1; Romanian authors: 29.

 Finances, Accounting, Banks with the subsections:

  • Finances total articles: 114, out of which foreign authors: 0; Romanian authors: 114;

  • Banks total articles: 53, out of which foreign authors: 0; Romanian authors: 53;

  • Accounting total articles: 114, out of which foreign authors: 1; Romanian authors: 113.  

 Management and Marketing with the subsections:

  • Management total articles: 120, out of which foreign authors: 0; Romanian authors: 120;

  • Marketing total articles: 107, out of which foreign authors: 1; Romanian authors: 106;

  • Economic Informatics total articles: 51, out of which foreign authors: 0; Romanian authors: 51.

 The abstracts of the scientific articles registered for the fourth edition of the International Scientific Session “European Integration – New Challenges for the Romanian Economy” were published in English in the volume Abstracts of the 4th  Edition of the International Scientific Conference “European Integration – New Challenges for the Romanian Economy, in a number of 750 copies distributed to all the participants to the conference, to the National Library, the Library of the University of Oradea, inter-university exchange etc.  

 

The articles accepted and presented at the fourth edition of the International Scientific Session “European Integration – New Challenges for the Romanian Economy” are published in an international language – English (mainly), French, German, Italian, with the abstract and key words in English.

 

The Annals of the University of Oradea, Economic Sciences Series, TOM XVII, 2008, Volumes I, II, III (III.1 and III.2), with a total number of pages of 4746, were printed in 50 copies and sent to: the National Library, The Library of the University of Oradea, inter-university exchanges etc. and in electronic format, in a number of 750 copies on CDs which were distributed to all the participants to the fourth edition of the International Scientific Session  European Integration – New Challenges for the Romanian Economy”.
