Papers review
The participation to the conference requires the on-line registration on the site of the conference and the obtaining of the approval in two stages: one, formal-technical from the programme committee and one – from the scientific point of view – from the scientific committee.  

The on-line registration on the conference site requires the filling in of the following data:

  1. the title of the paper;

  2. the section where the paper is registered;

  3. the abstract in English of the scientific paper ( maximum 200 words);

  4. the key words in English;

  5. the JEL quotation  (Journal of Economic Literature Classification System) of the paper;

  6. the author’s personal and contact data.

Also, the author must attach the paper/s in Word format (complying with the required editing conditions). Each author can register maximum two articles no mater he/she is the main author or the co-author.

 

1. Technical review

After finalizing the on-line registration stage, the Programme Committee, that is the people in charge with the sections review each paper, taking into account the following criteria:  

  • the correct integration of the paper in the section / subsection;

  • the correct integration of the paper from the point of view of the JEL classification;

  • the compliance with the conditions regarding the translation of the paper in an international language (each paper must have the abstract and the key words in English, while the title and the text of the paper may also be written in another international language – French, German or Italian);  

  • the compliance with the required editing conditions.

2. Scientific review

The scientific review of the papers registered on-line in order to be presented to the International Scientific Session “European Integration – New Challenges for the Romanian Economy” is ensured by the following Scientific Committee:

  2. Prof. Emilian M. Dobrescu, PhD – Romanian Academy, Bucharest;

  3. Prof. Elena Hlaciuc, PhD – “Ştefan cel Mare” University, Suceava;

  4. Prof. Ioan Mihuţ , PhD– “Dimitrie Cantemir” Christian University, Bucharest;

  5. Prof. Tatiana Moşteanu, PhD – The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies;

  6. Prof.  Nicolae Al. Pop, PhD – The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies;

  7. Prof. Gabriela Prelipcean, PhD –  “Ştefan cel Mare” University, Suceava;

  8. Prof. Petru Prunea, PhD – Technical University, Cluj Napoca;

  9. Prof. Ovidiu Rujan, PhD – The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies;

The papers registered within each section are given to minimum two members of the Scientific Committee which analyze each paper from the point of view of the content and scientific value. 

 

The criteria taken into consideration for the paper evaluation are:

  • the importance of the research theme;

  • the degree of originality;

  • the degree of novelty;

  • the research methods used;

  • the work hypotheses;

  • the degree of theorization / practical applicability;

  • the results of the research;

  • the clarity and personal contribution of the author / authors;

  • the bibliography used.

After the two stages of the review, technical and scientific, each main author receives an email confirming or rejecting the paper in order to prepare the public presentation of the paper/ papers registered. 

 

3. Public review

The papers accepted for presentation at the scientific session must be orally presented by the author / co-author (maximum 7 minutes) or presented as poster.

 

The oral presentation is made in the subsection, orally, with or without electronic support (PowerPoint), and the poster-type presentation is made by preparing the paper in the poster format previously announced, the placing of the poster on the panels of the section/subsection where the paper was registered, and then the presentation of the paper in front of the moderators and the other participants.

 

The paper presented publicly is accepted for publication on the condition it is mentioned in the minute of the section / subsection (the minute must be signed by the moderator, the section responsible, the section secretary). 

 

The public review is validated by the moderators and people in charge with the sections / subsections. The moderators of the sections and subsections are chosen , every year, among the teaching staff of several universities, such as: The West University of Timişoara, The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, The Technical University of Cluj Napoca,  “Babeş - Bolyai” University of Cluj Napoca, “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, “Dimitrie Cantemir” Christian University- Cluj Napoca; the responsible with the sections / subsections and the secretaries are part of the teaching staff of our faculty.

 

Only the papers complying with the conditions presented above are published in the next issue of the Journal: The Annals of the University of Oradea, Economic Sciences Series.
