On-line registration

 

The on-line registration of the participants to the International Scientific Conference “European Integration – New Challenges for the Romanian Economy” requires the access to a registration application which can be used during 1 – 30 April 2009.

 

 

 

The use of this application and its improvement year by year has led to an increase in the quality of our conference and has generated the following benefits:

  • for the authors:

    • the increase of the degree of visibility due to the possibility given to each author to create his/her personal profile within the section/subsection where he/she is registering;

    • autonomy in actions, created as a result of the possibility to automatically download the paper in Word format (with the compliance of the required editing conditions). Each author can register maximum two papers no matter he/she is the main author or the co-author. Also, the application allows the deletion of the paper or its replacement (during the on-line registration); 

    • the stimulation of the competition spirit due to the possibility to visualise the other papers registered at the conference at the particular section/subsection; 

    • facilities to validate the participation fee through the profile created. This operation is possible only after the review of the paper, the author being informed vial e-mail about the acceptance or rejection of the publication of his / her paper.

  • for the Editing Committee:

    • the facilitation of the process regarding the engendering of statistical reports, that is:

      • the general statistics – it contains numerically the situation of all the papers registered, accepted, rejected, confirmed/unconfirmed as payment, papers presented in the sections, papers presented as poster-type, papers which have not been presented; 

      • the list of all the papers registered (authors, title of the paper, abstract, key words) on sections and subsections;

      • the list of the all the persons registered (author/s, institution of origin, contact data: telephone number, e-mail, title of the paper, the section where the paper is registered);

      • the list of the papers accepted to be presented publicly after the review of the Scientific Committee;

      • the list of the papers rejected after the review of the Scientific Committee;

      • the list of the papers confirmed for the payment of the participation fee – it contains the list of the authors who filled in the profile created on the site, the identification data regarding the payment of the participation fee;

      • the list of the unconfirmed papers;

      • the list of the papers presented in the sections – it contains the list of the papers which have been presented in the sections according to the minutes;

      • the list of the papers presented as poster-type – it contains the list of the papers prepared by the author in Poster-type format (a format preset by the Organizing Committee);

      • the list of the papers presented – it contains the list of all the papers presented in the sections, classically or Poster-type during the conference;

      • the list of the papers which were not presented – it contains the papers which, though they were accepted to be publicly presented, the authors did not present the paper at the conference, and, as a result, they have not been published. 

    • the facilitation of the communication process with the authors through the automatic creation of the following documents:

      • list of e-mails containing the authors with accepted papers;

      • list of e-mails containing the authors with rejected papers;

      • list of e-mails with the authors confirming the payment of the participation fee;

      • list of e-mails with the authors who have not confirmed the payment of the participation fee;

      • list of e-mails with the authors whose papers are presented on the section;

      • list of e-mails with the authors whose papers are presented as Poster-type.

    • the automatic drawing up of the volume of abstracts, a volume which is published in English, containing the abstracts of all the papers registered at the conference.

  • for the Scientific Committee:  

    • the increase of the operational efficiency of the work of each member of the Scientific Committee, which, through the personal profile created, can review the registered papers no matter the location, in the country or abroad, having full access to the entire data base of the Journal;  

    • the increase of the degree of accuracy regarding the review of the paper integration in the themes of the subsection where the author registered the paper and the possibility to automatically redirect a paper  from a subsection to another for a better integration;

    • the creation of the possibility to read in the first stage of the reviewing process all the abstracts registered at the section/subsection analyzed;

    • the possibility to independently validate the papers complying with the selection criteria and, in the end, the automatic generation of the list containing the papers accepted to be publicly presented at the conference.
